After sitting on my Ls for more than 2 decades and never committing to getting my licence I decided 2020 was the year for me and finally started to book lessons. Rick at L2D Driving School was the most professional, helpful, calm and encouraging instructor I had. He gave me the skills and confidence I needed to pass the drive test on first try! He is excellent value and very generous with his time and advice, and I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to get driving lessons.

I really couldn't recommend Rick and L2D Driving School highly enough. I was quite a nervous driver and had been putting off doing my Probationary Test. After 7 lessons with Rick I had built a lot of confidence and felt more sure of myself on the road. He is an excellent teacher, incredibly calm and patient, and has an effective teaching style. I paid for the Drive Test package so Rick attended the Drive Test with me. We drove for an hour before the test and by the time we got to the Test itself I felt calm and ready, and I passed first time! Would recommend Rick and the L2D Driving School to any Learner looking for a teacher who will put you at ease, give you the best chance to pass your test, while providing great value for money!

A. Our Melbourne driving instructors tailor every lesson to the student and will let you know about your progress. Number of lessons would also depend on your learning abilities. On average a beginner can be taught to drive in 10 to 15 lessons.
Q. What is Duration of a Single Driving Lesson?
A. Our Melbourne Driving Lessons are a minimum of 45 minutes long beginning at previously agreed locations (home, school, work…) but you can book 60 min and 90 min lessons also.
Q. Should I Choose an Automatic or Manual Car Driving Lessons in Melbourne?
A. It depends on your situation and if you own a manual or an automatic car. However, learners who obtain a licence in an automatic car will be licensed to drive only automatic cars for the duration of their probationary licence. Learners getting the licence in manual car will be licensed and allowed to drive both manual and automatic cars.
